What will happen in the first session?

In the first session, I will take some details to register you as a client, give you a brief outline of how therapy works and answer any questions you may have. The first session is a good opportunity for you to discuss what is happening for you at the moment, what you need from your sessions and for you to gauge if you feel comfortable working with me.

Can I cancel a session?

If you need to cancel a session, please provide 48 hours notice, otherwise the session fee will be charged.

I feel stressed but I can handle my life. Do I need therapy?

Accepted Answer

You do not need to feel that you are 'in crisis' to attend therapy. Often, it can provide you with a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can talk through whatever challenges you are facing and it may offer you a different perspective on your situation.

The number of sessions required is unique to each client depending on your presenting issues and what you would like to achieve from your sessions.

How often will we meet?

Generally sessions take place on a weekly basis in order to maintain momentum with your therapy process. This can be reviewed as your therapy progresses.

Yes, all major debit and credit cards are accepted. Alternatively, you can also pay by cash or bank transfer.
